Lessons at Yonsei University Korean Language Institute start...
I was quite surprised to learn new grammar here,
'coz our Korean tutor in NUS said we won't be learning new stuffs,
mostly revise and practise only~
Anyway, learning new stuffs is exciting!
Didn't go out with friends after school
'coz was meeting my buddy in the afternoon, at dorm.
Nice girl, I feel that she is one with strong personalities.
Slim, Short Hair...named 박수빈 Park Su Bin=)
Since she is older than me, I call her Eonni (Big Sis)
And this is actually the Korean "culture" to greet elders and seniors
Either call them 선배 (Seon-Bae 前辈;学长、学姐) or more close can call:
1) Girls calling girls: 언니 Eonni/Unni
2) Girls calling guys: 오빠 Obba (should say it in a "sweet" way:p)
3) Guys calling girls: 누나 Noona
4) Guys calling guys: 형 Hyeong
Those much older persons can call them:
1) Uncle: 아저씨 Ajeossi
2) Aunty: 아주머니 Ajoomeoni
3) Anyone older, with a post or profession, eg teachers, doctors, bus and taxi drivers, security guards: 선생님 Seonsaengnim
Should never miss out all these when addressing or calling others
If not, it's seen as impolite and rude...
