2N1D in KBS 2014

Objectives of this post:
1) To express my love towards 2D1N
2) To test out the FB embed codes

Amazed by my blog stats LOL

Due to the recent Gushcloud saga
various bloggers/sites have been posting blog stats
and according to the famous xx
she can get as high as 70k pageview per day during her peak
and an ordinary blogger should perhaps have thousands daily

This makes me wonder
how has my pathetic blog been doing
so here's my stats over the past 4+ years........

Observation: there're peaks in Decembers over the past three years
Rationale: December is tutorial time for Korean year end shows hahahahaha

So... most people searched for, well, Inkigayo LOL
(but what's that "at 9 10 2009 11 39 59 am thingy??????)

Again, this shows that people are here for the music shows tutorials XD

As expected, they are people residing in Korea,
likely to be exchange students who can't really understand Korean...
And fellow friends from Singapore... well... I'm based in sg so... ^^

- Not sure if compulsory, but I think you need a Korean mobile/cellphone number when applying because MBC will notify successful applicants via text messages

Step 1:
Login to MBC website. Refer to old tutorials here:

Step 2:
Go to http://www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2014music/ticket/index.html


Step 3:
Scroll down till you see the application columns (see image below for detailed translation)
1) If you need to check or change your personal particulars, especially your mobile/cellphone number, click the purple button "회원정보 수정"
2) Select the venue & seating that you prefer (one out of three options, do note that different venue has different performing artists)
3) Click the white button "신청하기" to submit

Step 5:
Ta-da!! Application completed!!
(p.s. adjustment to browser encoding is needed in order to see the proper korean message)

Please note:

- Successful applicants are to bring along the text message sent to his/her cellphone as well as ID card for the exchange of tickets (Each successful text message can exchange 2 tickets)
- There will be no resending of text message if it is accidentally deleted. No entry if fail to show the text message
- Seating based on first come first serve basis (based on queue)
- Show will end in midnight so please arrange transportation accordingly
- Photography is strictly prohibited during show
- Only those above 15 years old (Korean age) are allowed to participate and enter the venue

- MBC Drama Awards ceremony is not opened for public visit, so no tickets can't be applied

Step 1:

Step 2:
Go to: http://www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2014entertain/bestcouple/index.html


Step 3:
Click on 방청 신청 (circled in red below)

Step 4:
Scroll down the page till you see 신청하기. Click on it (circled in red below)

Step 5:
You will get a pop up message saying that your application is successful.

- in case you get unreadable codes, don't panic, repeat Step 4, you should get the following, which translates to "이미 참여하셨습니다", ie you have already applied (see below, I adjusted the encoding of my browser to get the proper korean message):

- since application procedure is the same for both entertainment and drama awards, I'm combining the tutorials in one post

Step 1:

Login to SBS website. Refer to old tutorials here:

Step 2:

a) For Entertainment Awards, Click HERE

b) For Drama Awards, Click HERE

Step 3:

a) For Entertainment Awards, click on 티켓신청 then 긴편신청 on the side bar

b) For Drama Awards, click on 티켓신청 on the top panel (circled in red below)

Step 4:

Scroll down the page till you see 방청신청.

Double check all your personal particular as listed.

Select the date of the award ceremony from the drop-down menu

Tick the check-box.

Click the button to submit

Step 5:

And ta-da!!! You're done with the application!!!

Step 6:

Check the application results on 23rd December 2014 KST 4PM onwards.

Same website as the application page (see step 1-3 above).

Scroll down the page till you see 당첨확인

Select the date of the award ceremony from the drop-down menu.

Click the button to submit and the application result should show up

p.s. will update this page again on the 23rd to show you all how to read the results

Just a short update...

Can't believe that

I actually persevered for 7 days

Ahahahaha

Retreat to beaches

It's been a long time since i last updated

Nothing interesting in life nor at work

Except for the beach retreat last week

Friends' wedding at port dickson

Not the usual Chinese banquet

But a gathering and celebration among close friends and family

Was really a happy wedding

...despite the sudden downpour

Strayed around KL

Nothing special except the sudden call from Terengganu *heart attack*

Were rather tired already

But it's only Day-2!!!

17/03/2014

Decided to continue with the trip to terengganu

Prepared to change plan to Lake Kenyir

But

Ended up going jetty

And

Ended up boarding the boat

And

We reached Lang Tengah safely!!!!

*finally*

Showering successfully washed away the nausea

Tired, but no way!!!

I'm not going to spend my time in the room sleeping!!!!

Woke up at 8am

And

I dived!!!!!

Muahahahaa

Shiok!!!!

Though my right ear hurt~

Instructor was soft on land but fierce in water

(became super friendly at night at the bar, ha)

Now I miss the stalker neon fish ^^

(and the people at Lang Tengah, lovely~)

This is just a brief summary and some links
