我回家啦

回家原本是件很兴奋的事
可是
回家的这三天
弄得我很不开心
全因为一个人
可是
具体来说
我不知道该写“他”还是“她”
总之
因为那个人
弄得我全家很不开心
弄得我很不想再回家

对于“他”和“她”
（如果你在看的话，很抱歉）
我真的没办法献上祝福
原本很neutral的心态
因为这三天
弄得我很反感
全家都很反感

直到他（们）长智慧
会用脑想为止……

Indulgence

I went out to town again yesterday (Sat)
this time
it's Orchard and Somerset
looking for iPhone 4!!!!

and i found it!!!
yet didn't buy...

This week!!
this week I shall conquer one iPhone home!!!

Yes, basically I only know how to cook with a rice cooker


I added some cheese, to thicken the sauce
Looked nice, tasted nice as well :)

So, after the successful experiment with Ddeok-bok-ki
I decided to advance a little more
with Ra-bok-ki
which is simply Ramyeon + Ddeuk-bok-ki
(yes, they call that in Korea)

Wanted to try Cheese Ra-bok-ki
but
decided to just stop without cheese
since it's just my second try


Boiled ddeok in water first,
followed by sauce,
then added half packet of Ramyeon seasoning and the noodles


Ta-da!!!

Thought of adding more nutrients into my dinner
so I added an egg into the ramyeon at the end
well
too bad that the taste was off
no longer genuine i mean
But still tasty~~

And just some side note
Don't buy any brand of Ramyeon if you want a "genuine" Korean taste
buy only 辛拉面！！！
if not it will be just like any other Japanese/local instant noodle...

Why am i so obsessed with Korea

I really don't know why...
I'm actually not very into K-pop
I don't watch the most recent K-dramas
neither do I listen to the most recent K-songs
I'm actually very outdated in sense of K-pop!!

But why do I like Korea so much
I like the country
its language
its culture
its food
its cosmetics

I'm so obsessed that I continue with Korean 5
a module which I think I'll just S/U in the end
yet I enjoy the class

I'm so obsessed that I want to cook Korean food myself
I cook Shin Ramyeon the Korean way, with cheese
I made Songpyeong a Korean "kuih" though failed
and I am so going to cook Ddeok-bok-ki
the famous Korean Fried Spicy Rice Cake
辣炒年糕!!!

One of the biggest event organised by NUS Sports Club
as Health and Fitness is its member club
we're obliged to volunteer and help out
so
there go my first term weekend with sports club

There's a briefing on Sat 13 Aug
730PM at MPSH6
it's just a very short briefing
real short

Around 830PM
we H&F members went Bloois for dinner+supper
some went for alcohols
By 1130PM
we were back in MPSH again
really to sleep
yes
sleep in the multipurpose sports hall
which used to be a sports training venue and exam hall

Staying overnight in school is not a new thing for me
I've done so for a few times in JC
so I got all necessaries ready and packed
long pants, jacket, sleeping bag
enough to withstand the cold aircon

This time
it's actually better coz we got "sleeping mats" as well
well
except that it's smelly...

But, yet,
I didn't manage to sleep at all
People kept walking around
there's a bunch of secondary kids playing games at back of the hall
making so much noise and laughing out so loud
it's impossible to turn deaf and sleep nicely

Around 330AM
sports club people started to prepare stuffs at front of the hall
the lights were on and there're more noises
since they moving stuffs around

By 4AM
we H&F people really can't "sleep" anymore
so might as well "wake up" and "relax"
washed up and get changed into the bright orange shirt

Report to person i/c at 5AM
had another round of briefing
leaving to station at 6AM
ha..my station was just outside PGP R1
how i wished to go back room and sleep

There's slight drizzling in morning
luckily rain stopped around 7AM
race then started
we people outside there were Road Marshals
wearing the lime vest
holding the red flag
a bunch of professional looking noob
standing by the side of road
trying to direct and control traffic
ending up confusing most drivers and runners
HA!

I GOT STOMACH FLU DURING THE DUTY!!
Ha..luckily got toilet nearby at NUHS
was MIA from my post for twice lo~~

So the race (5km and 10km marathon) ended around 1030AM
and we got back to MPSH around 11AM
just so not good that
no one called and informed us volunteers that the race was over
we just waited at our stations and waited for no news
until we called the person i/c
then only she asked us to go back MPSH
no bus/no lorry/no car fetched us back
got to take shutter bus by ourselves~~

Free chicken rice at 12NOON
back HOME at 1230PM
now
it's time to sleep
sleep
and sleep
(having another round of meeting at 630 later...sob...)

开学整个礼拜了
总觉得
学校好吵啊！！！

到处都是人
尤其是巴士站
巴士内更糟糕
挤到～～～
而且
吵到～～～

是今年的新生特别多吗？
还是他们特别勤劳？
还是特别吵？

又或者
不像前两年
今年的我是一个人的
好多好多朋友都不在学校了
单独一人时，会觉得身旁被很多陌生人围着
单独一人时，安静的思想会被身旁的声音盖过
所以
独自一人的时候
原本正常的周遭环境
无形中都被“放大”了？

又或者
我大三老了
看到那些青春可爱
充满活力的新生
我只能感叹
两年的大学生活
已经把我磨练成精了
开学嘛，不特别兴奋也不特别伤心
上课嘛，不特别期待也不特别讨厌
课外活动嘛，不特别投入但也不至于厌倦
总之
很有这种“看透尘世”的老态了

谁是新生、谁是“老生”
其实是看得出来的
新生除了有活力、有冲劲儿
他们还会有很多很奇怪的举动

比方说
巴士到站时
他们会很kia-su kia-si
一窝蜂挤上巴士
也不懂得先让巴士上的乘客先下车
你不让我下车
哪里有位给你上车啊小朋友
uncle pua chu kang 都有教啦

刚刚在宿舍看到更奇怪的
一群7、8个不懂是泰国还是越南的孩子
挤在那小小的电梯里
我看里面还有个空位
就站了进去
当我要activate transponder按8楼时
发现
他们没按几楼耶
哈
就这样一大群小孩子
霸占一架电梯
等人家帮忙按喔
想要偷偷上那层楼
也不用这样等吧
即使你到了要去的那楼
也进不去cluster啊
我祝你们好运
慢慢等

唉

就在他们冲冲撞撞时
“老生”重在他们后面偷笑、摇头

5分钟过后就会有下一趟车的

发现“老生”很厉害钻 loopholes
找捷径
尤其是CORS module registration

不够bid point拿不到自己想要的课
就先放弃major core module
先bid electives
bid 到一点分数都没有时
就email department
说我一定要拿那科core module可是bid不到
department就会manually“送”你那科module

讲义课和小组课撞时间
其实也不是问题
因为CORS有点笨
只要是讲义课之间不撞
是绝对有可能办到同一时间排着两堂课的
挺多是翘几趟讲义课罢了
有webcast的更好

有些人更厉害
有些module的小组课只有一个时段
可是他们不管
照拿那科module
到时候上课了
才跟讲师说时间表有问题
要求全班为了他们而换小组课的时间
打比方说，我的韩文课

我就是不够聪明
不够勇敢
原本想拿biotech的
可是因为和韩文的小组课撞时间
我就放弃了biotech
现在好啊
班上竟然要求换韩文小组课的时间
弄砸了我的时间表
要是换了的时间碰到我其他的科目
我马上哭给你看！！！

我已经牺牲了biotech
现在要我为了那几个聪明的老生
而放弃韩文
我真的哭给你看！！！

话说Airline开放新航线直飞首尔

从4号起
我就开始策划、算日子

先是算好明年韩国几时开学
2月21日最有可能

然后算我老弟什么时候可以翘课
2月21日左右应该可以

接着上网看还有没有票
唉
99块的单程票没有了啦
剩下300多400多的
其实也不错啦
马航新航的双程票是两千多的

所以就决定二月十多二十号
还是冬天嘛
就去雪岳山吧

结果
我就花了两天的时间
上网搜搜搜
搜集资料
交通、旅店、景点
价钱什么的，都用Excel整理

资料搜集得越多
就觉得这次的自由行很有希望
越弄越兴奋

可是

总会有可是的

即使我的行程表弄得再完善
节目弄得再精彩
我都敌不过我爸

我家
从来没试过背包旅行
我爸除了新山和马六甲以外的地方
都不敢开车乱乱走的
在新加坡也是常搭德士的
出国就一定是跟旅行社
唯一最最最像背包旅行的一次
是在罗马的一天

所以
当我把我的韩国行的计划告诉我妈时
原本跟我一样很high的老妈
也突然很消沉
因为我们太太了解老爸了

要带着一家人
拖着几个大行李箱
在人生地不熟、语言不通的陌生地方
搭公共交通从首尔去雪岳山
还要冒险住进没看过的旅馆
手拿着地图到处找景点
饿着肚子到处找吃的

这些对我看来
是即兴奋又刺激的
可是
对我一家人看来
是冒险和疲劳
不值得的

所以

唉

所以
我的计划泡汤了
捡便宜“票”的计划也作废了
只有等
等12月学校100%、正式、确定我去韩国后
才做进一步的决定
雪岳山嘛…………再等等吧…………

唉
一点都不好玩 :(

我就知道不对劲了

不是娃娃头的刘海
是长的
盖过眼睛
可是
竟然是平的！！
我要的是斜的
顺着斜去后面的那种

今天照镜子看
我就知道完了
我的头发本来就多、厚
剪成平的
只会变蓬
那个形状简直是
吼……

真不明白
昨天叫他给我剪薄
他为什么不肯
真的不明白

再仔细看看
竟然还左右不相称
右边长左边短
最最后面还留着一小撮头发
“鹤立鸡群”竟然没给剪

亏老爸还说人家是“师傅”
在新加坡开理发院的
我看
他见男生的头或许还行
剪女生的
不行

开学了
还得到可欣介绍的理发店
再去碰碰运气
搞不好
我又得离子烫了
