2 consecutive weeks
immersing in K-dramas...

So the first one was Rooftop Prince,
now,
finally...another "must-watch" which I "refused" to watch for one year~

both dramas with Park Yoochun as lead...
haha well...sorry to JYJ fans, but i think he's a better actor than singer :P

But instead of the main leads,
I prefer Keoro+Yeorim couple :)

Too educated?

Sometimes I wonder
if being "too" educated is a good thing
Whenever there's a problem,
we "educated" people tend to find solutions ourselves
We google, we wiki, we pubmed

End up?...

End up being not trusting the doctors
when they give us "weird" medicine

End up using (or NOT using) some drugs
because we FIND OUT that those drugs are effective (or potentially harmful)

End up doubting some non-scientific methods of solving problem
losing the chance to actually solve the problem easier/faster

End up criticizing "proof-less" solution
making ourselves suffer over unnecessary unpleasantness

I'm just upset over the bedbug issue at this house

I love this place

If the bugs can go away completely forever
of course I won't mind staying here for long

If the owner can be nice to us
of course we won't make things turn ugly

Things can turn really ugly if negotiation fails
We will compromise
and take things slowly now
Hope that problem can be solved
peacefully...

K-drama

其实，我真的没看过多少韩剧

只看过那些 “爆红” 的罢了

例如大长今、宫、咖啡王子、花样男子、秘密花园等等

都是一些 “不得不看” 的韩剧

比起连续剧

我比较喜欢综艺节目（艺能节目）

虽然大多数都是 scripted 的

但觉得韩国的艺能节目比较 “真”

可以看出每个艺人的 “真本性”

最棒的例子，我觉得是女歌手 李孝利

舞台上的她是性感女神

可是艺能节目里的她却是凶悍大婶

我不是不喜欢连续剧

而是

连续剧通常就20或30集就大结局了

不过瘾～

所以，打从去年在韩国看了秘密花园后

就没有再看韩剧了

一直到这个星期

终于又重拾韩剧

4天内看完《屋塔房王世子》

哈！

最后一天还一口气看了最后5集

结果

隔天出现了 “天然双眼皮”

唉～

咋办咋办～

For some reasons,
I think I'd be a better Computing student

I learnt HTML, ASP, CSS by myself
Managed to set up a private server and create a blog from scratch
all those codes look cute to me...

Why did I choose Life Science in the first place?
I scored better in Arts modules
I do better in computing stuffs
while
I almost failed my LSM mod
I got most LSM mods before 3.5
why...
why...

Haiz..

I think the only reason that keeps me going
is that
well
I am a lucky girl
who got good research projects
who got good data
who got people helping me produce good reports
and end up getting good grades...

Let's just keep on going
till i finally run out of my luck then~

Wait..
the reason i started this post is not to complain about my LSM major..
but... it's because
I SOLVED THE PROBLEM ON MY DAD'S COMP!!

Well..
nothing big...
just that i finally uninstalled a stubborn "security" software
a software that seems to be very powerful in antivirus, firewall, maintenance blablabla
but nope.. i dont like it, because it's TOO "all-rounded"
:P

So I tried to uninstall this software
failed
it asked me to install its updated version first
before im allowed to uninstall it
okay fine~

So i download and install the new version
and uninstall it completely after that...

Guess what
my original antivirus software seemed to get affected
it can't start at all...
meaning
there's NO antivirus running on my dad's laptop at all...
wide-open, welcoming all viruses and funny stuffs into the machine
muahahaha >.<

So
tried to start it manually using Command Prompt
but nope... it's started and stopped automatically for some unknown reasons
okay fine~

I'm gonna uninstall it completely then
but nope... it can't be uninstalled!!!

I'd reinstall it first then
maybe it's like the previous software..
some files got broken or crashed or sth...
but nope... it can't be reinstalled  neither T.T

Well...
first, it won't start
second, it won't uninstall
third, it can't be updated/repaired/reinstalled
conclusion: it's an useless bomb on the comp...

End up going to forums... found an "Uninstall Utility" to remove it forcefully
but before that
got to learn how to start this comp in Safe Mode
since the antivirus software has some "Self protective" function
protecting itself from being altered/removed
well~ fine~

Haa... just downloading all those setup files made me wait for hourS
(thanks to STREAMYX)

So happy learning something new today ^^
(if only i'll get this kind of satisfaction while learning LSM mod)
