- Not sure if compulsory, but I think you need a Korean mobile/cellphone number when applying because MBC will notify successful applicants via text messages

Step 1:
Login to MBC website. Refer to old tutorials here:

Step 2:
Go to: http://www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2014entertain/bestcouple/index.html
Step 3:
Click on 방청 신청 (circled in red below)
Step 4:
Scroll down the page till you see 신청하기. Click on it (circled in red below)
Step 5:
You will get a pop up message saying that your application is successful.
- in case you get unreadable codes, don't panic, repeat Step 4, you should get the following, which translates to "이미 참여하셨습니다", ie you have already applied (see below, I adjusted the encoding of my browser to get the proper korean message):

Hi Yuekling. Does this also require korean number? I've registered in mbc with my home number (indonesia number). I've tried to apply ticket mbc entertainment award based on your tutorial, and i got some gibberish as a return.
How to encode the broser? I've tried googling and did this tools -> encoding -> Unicode UT8 in google chrome. But it still didn't work and still gives me some gibberish popup after i clicked 신청하기. Thank You!!!

I'm not very sure if a Korean number is compulsory, but it has to be a mobile/cellphone number as MBC will notify successful applicants via text messages (to be used as proof to collect tickets as well).
To change your particulars, click on the Orange button "회원정보 수정" at Step 4, before clicking the pink button "신청하기".
I used Mozilla Firefox to adjust the language and encoding to "Korean". It doesn't work on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome though. To adjust on Firefox:
1) Options --> Content --> Advanced --> change character encoding to "Korean"
2) Options --> Content --> Choose --> Add "Korean [ko]" and make it the default language
