Ticket application period is not mentioned on the website, but should be starting now, till the results release date which is on 27th Dec 2011.

Step-by-step Guide:

Step 1:

You will first need to register for a SBS account, and login before requesting for the tickets.

Step 2:
Goto http://tv.sbs.co.kr/2011gayo/
And click on the first link on the left that says "가요대전 방청안내" (circled in red below)

Step 3:
Login with your registered username and password.

Should you be prompted by the following page after login (which is to ask you to renew your password),
to make life easier, click on the second button to skip it (circled in red below).

Step 4:
You should be redirected to the following page, which shows the show's information:

Scroll down and double check your particulars, especially your mobile number.
From the drop-down list, select "2011/12/29".
Then click on the button below that says "방청권신청" to Submit.

Then, click "OK" and "OK" for the following 2 pop-up windows to confirm your application submission.
And congrats! You're done!

Venue: Ilsan Kintex Hall 9B (New Building "Shin-Guan")
Admission: KST6:30PM onwards, according to appointed queue number
Attendees:
DBSK, 2PM, SuJu, 2NE1, SNSD, WG, Kara, Beast, CN Blue, FT Island, BEG, T-ara, Miss A, f(x), Lee Seung Gi, IU, Kim Hyun-joong, After School, MBLAQ, Infinite, Dal Shabet, Boy Brand, A Pink, B1A4, 4 Minute, Gina, Sistar, Davinchi, K-will, Teen Top, Rainbow, U Kiss, etc
Number of winners: Total 300 (2 tickets per person; 600 seats)
Results release date: 27th Dec, KST 5PM onwards via SMS

Exchange of tickets:
Tickets will be distributed on 29th Dec at the venue, KST 4PM onwards, according to the queue number as indicated on the SMS received by winners.
- Queue number indicated on the SMS will be given in random
- Tickets are NOT given on first-come-first-serve basis, hence please reach the place according to respective distribution time.

Important Notes:
1. Only 15 years old and above are allowed to visit
2. As it is a LIVE show, it may end late; you should be responsible of your own transportation after the show.
3. It is held at the New Building Hall 9B of Ilsan Kintex, NOT the Old Building "Gu-Guan" which the show was held in the past 2 years.
4. Photography/Videography is prohibited during the LIVE show.
