I've decided to write Monday together with Wednesday,
and Tuesday together with Thursday
'cause of the similar timetable on those days

21st March (Mon) + 23rd March (Wed)
Neurobiology Quiz
Did I mention that I had my first Neurobiology quiz on Mon?
Oh well
I actually studied over the past weekends
it's just an ungraded quiz
why am i so stressed up and spending weekend to study for it?
because
i'm an exchange student
huh?!!
well...
because
my neurobiology prof here can recognise me
both my face and my name
>.<
during every lecture
the reason she has to teach in English
and sometimes translate the students' questions into English
is because of my presence
>.<
she glances at me from time to time during lecture
to make sure i can understand her English
>.<
oh well...
with prof like this
how can I fail her tests!!!
>.<
so i faithfully spent my weekend (esp the sunny Sunday)
to memorise the names of each part of the brain
so how's the results?
well...it's released on Wed...
at the end of the lecture
the prof called out names one by one
and ppl went out to collect their papers one by one
OH NO!!!
WHAT IF I DID BADLY FOR THE QUIZ?!!!
NUS reputation would be ruined on my hands :PP
but luckily (does it considered as lucky anyway?)
i scored 19.5 out of 23
not bad right?
though the highest in class was 22 out of 23
hmm...
i didn't ruin NUS reputation right?
:PP
Nong'ak 農樂
Anyway
Mon and Wed didn't end with my neuro quiz
'cause
I went to join some CCA
called 농악대 Nong'ak (農樂)
direct English translation is "Farmer Music"
a kind of Korean traditional music+dance
I expected to learn how to play their drums
but i sort of forgot that
Nong'ak also consists of the dance element
well...
so our Monday training was started with warm-up exercise
outdoor in the evening
in the cold weather below 5deg
and
we practised "half-squat + rise + half-squat + rise + ..."
and we repeated the same movement for ~10mins
later
add in the hand movement
and then learn how to walk,
together with the same leg and hand movements
Outcomes?
paralysed legs for the next 5 days~~~
and it made me recalled some "sweet" memories:
...got punished in primary school, squat for 100 times etc
...during Xavier/St. John Marching in Convent, hentak kaki for dunno how long
...got tortured once a week during PE in ACJC, trained to complete 2.4km in 16mins
those were really hard times,
but real sweet when you recall them years after ^^
Anyway
the training was continued again on Wed
but this time was held indoor
and no more "physical training"
but get down to learn the 장구 Janggu (長鼓 - "Long Drum")
the noise was unendurable at first
but once you get used to it
you will start enjoy it~
Kuk'ak 國樂
Besides Nong'ak, I've also went for Kuk'ak on Wed
which is the "National Music"
and it's actually very similar to Chinese Orchestra
similar instruments but in different names, of course
and here comes my dilemma
should i continue with Flute?
or should i try out sth new like GuZheng?
advise please... :(
