110416 (Sat)
After dinner at Gwangjang Market
we finally went back to Bukchon Hanok Village
where we spent one night homestay there ^^

I tried homestay with a Korean family 2 years ago
and I loved it
so I've been anticipating this homestay very much
especially that it's at one of the Korean Traditional Hanok~
And what's more
it's not an ordinary hanok
but
THE FAMOUS ONE APPEARED IN 2D1N!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, I'm so so so into 2D1N nowadays~
Try imagine how shocked and excited I was when I knew I was going to stay in THAT house >.<
So yes, THE hanok T____T
THE front yard they had games, and their 2nd 30mins nap
THE living room where some of them faked their 1st 30mins nap
After washing up, there's "tea session"; this is our host~

During the tea session, we chit-chat with the host as well as two KTO staffs
and I realised something
that
MY KOREAN HAS REALLY IMPROVED AAAAAAAAAALOT
hahah
as the other students can't understand korean
and the staffs and our host can't really speak english
and I appear to be the only "bilingual" one there
I actually became the translator during the tea session
and I think I did the job well!!!!
ahahah....so happy with my korean level now though it's not perfect yet ^^

So we tried to did some feedback and sharing with the staffs
with some difficulties due to the language barrier
and then after that,
everyone went back to own rooms and prepare to sleep
but I stayed back for a while to chat with the host
listened to stories about Hanok as well as Korean traditions
though can't understand everything the host said
but it's indeed a great experience interact with people with different cultural background ^^

And I sort of admire our host
why?
she's already 65 years old
but still active in this kind of activities
and she still learns how to use computer and internet
in order to promote Hanok Homestay
and being so positive in lifelong learning
this made me wonder
will i stay positive and active in society when i turn old?
will i continue learning and catch up with the new world?
chatting with her really made me think a lot that night~

So after chitting-chatting
it's bedtime~~~
Sleeping on floor in "interesting" for ppl like us who usually sleep on beds
but it can be quite "torturing" as well
the left half of my body just went numb at night >.<
didn't sleep well that night
mainly because i was sharing the room with two other girls
awkward, especially i slept in the middle >.<
anyway...
i "slept" around 1am
and "wake up" around 7am as our host was giving us morning call:
"일어나세요 (Ireonaseyo) --> Please wake up.
기상입니다 (Kisang'imnida). 기상 (Kisang) --> 起床 "
aigoooo >.<

110417 (Sun)
So...woke up around 7am
we then had a super nice breakfast prepared by our host

While waiting for breakfast, more photos around the hanok~ Like the roof ^^
Leaving for breakfast next door!!
nice nice nice~~~ but it's such a waste that we didn't manage to finish all :(
Btw, we had breakfast at the house next door, which once belonged to Hyundai CEO (?)
See the dogs? They're THE dogs that scared the PD in 2D1N :PP
We're there just the right time to see the best cherry blossom at their garden!!!
Oh well, this is THE place the 2D1N MCs had their "public nap" :PP
One last shot before leaving T.T
Next stop, Korean Culture Immersion - Knotting~~
Like the colours!!!

After that, more visiting around Bukchon Hanok Village; our final stop was the highest point of the village.
See those cherry trees around the mountains? ^^
Next? LUNCH!!!!!!!
This is called Kalbi-tang (Short-rib Soup), nice nice nice ^^

After lunch, the trip had finalled ended
and we're back to KTO Headquarter again
sobsobsob~~

It's really a great time travelling around Jongno
though I've been to most of the places already
I still enjoyed the trip very much
'cause this time I had more chance to interact with the locals
as well as international students from all over the world!!!

BRAVO KTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
