I wanted to ask if you already posted the tutorial on how to attend year-end music festivals? (SBS/KBS/MBC Gayo Daejun)
I hope you can guide me on how to get the tickets and attend these events or maybe, what are the things I need to bring if I have to queue to get in.

The information on ticketing etc for the year end music festivals won't be out so soon. They will only announce it in mid December. If you want, you can come back again on December, post a comment here and remind me again. If I have the time, I'll do a new tutorial again. ^^

I found out that the 5th "MelOn Music Awards" is going to be held on 14th December, 7PM KST at the Seoul Olympic Park, Gymnastics Arena! :D
May I know if it's possible for me to attend and watch this award show? Or is it impossible?
If it's possible, how do I apply for/buy the entrance ticket?

Sorry for the late reply as I was trying out the MelOn website. You can actually apply for tickets to enter the LIVE show, and even the backstage!! I tried to do a tutorial guidelines for that, but unfortunately, the website is having heavy traffic and I didn't manage to go through the entire application process.

hello! regarding the sbs gayo daejun, i followed your tutorial - apply for sbs first, then go to the gayo daejun page, click the apply link, but it didn't link me to the page that you showed.
whenever i click the 'fill up the blanks', it will just sorta refresh the page.. any idea what went wrong? is it possible for you to apply for me? =p

In order to enter Immortal Song recording studio, you would need to write an application essay on their website. Unless you are proficient in Korean language, or if you have a Korean friend, I don't think it's easy to get tickets to enter. Here's the website:

As for music shows, you can actually just go to the braodcaster company during their show day, and queue there early morning. There's chance that they will give out free tickets on the day itself. Also, it'd be even easier if you can get help with the fan club, they usually have priority to get tickets.
But if you intend to get proper tickets to enter the studio, I personally think that SBS Inkigayo is the most convenient one. MBC and KBS are less foreigner-friendly unless you have a Korean mobile phone. Here's some of the tutorials that I've made before:

Not sure whether you're still active in this blog, but I would like to ask you regarding the year end music festival (sbs, mbc, kbs gayo daejun).
I'll be going to Seoul this coming December 2014 and would like you to guide me on how to get the tickets to attend these events. Also, reading your past tutorial guide, it seems that without alien number I would be able to apply for SBS Inkigayo and SBS Gayo Daejun. Is there any other way to get the tickets?

If you do not have an alien card and are currently outside korea, you could simply apply as "Foreigner Outside Korea" using your passport.

Could you please make a quick post on recap of year end award (music, entertainment, and drama award) or any year end show for 2014 (plus the dates) like you did in 2013? I've tried googling but couldn't find the date of each show, since it's different from last year (gayo daejun sbs is 21st this year).

I couldn't find the link for the 31st mbc gayo daejun (but i can, however, register in mbc because of your post). Please hellpp.. I'll be in Seoul at 30 and 31st Dec 2014 and i would very much appreciated if i know how to apply.
