Got some leftover cabbage kimchi fr last time
which the taste turned abit...not normal...
So
time to make them into
kimchi pancake!!
Super easy procedure
and it was NOT a failure!!
Edible
Only if I put less flour
and fry till abit more crispy
^^

Again, following Maangchi's recipe this time
removed the green onions coz there's already green onions inside my Kimchi
|
1 Cup of leftover kimchi (which taste rather sour) 3 Tbsp kimchi juice (from the same leftover kimchi) Half tsp salt Half tsp sugar Quarter cup of water Half cup of all purpose flour ~~MIX WELL~~
(I suggest to dissolve the salt and sugar in the water first, before adding into the mixture) |
|
Pre-heat the non-stick pan Add 1~2 Tbsp of vege oil When hot, pour in the kimchi mixture (if pan is of 12inch width, can pour everything in)
Spread the mixture over the pan evenly using spatula Let it fry until the bottom gets golden brown
It's super important to have a non-stick pan luckily the one at home is non-stick and i could FLIP it!!!! literally throw into air and FLIP!!! too bad no one help me videotape me doing the flipping~~
(Well... i might post a similar video at the bottom later...) |
|
Yup My flipping failed abit though, the side was not nicely flipped :( Anyway let it fry, till the bottom turn golden brown
then FLIP again~ and wait till it's slightly burnt DONT burn it too much though :)

And Ta-da!!! My dinner that day: Noodle+vege+carrots plus kimchi pancake~
Errr... i admit that the quantity is abit too much
The above recipe for kimchi pancake is for 2~3 servings actually awww i actually finished everything alone hahahahaha >.< |
